Tuition for 2006-07 is based on a minimum of 30 lessons. Please note that most students will have more than 30 lessons during a school year. You will be billed separately for all lessons in addition to the 30 minimum lessons. Arrangements for the payment of tuition, by post dated cheque, must be made by Sept. 15, 2006.
1) We must be given at least 24 hours notice if you wish to reschedule a lesson. You will be charged for all regular lessons. As in the past, additional lessons are always available at any time during the year.
2) Music/CD’s/strings etc. that we purchase for you will be billed separately.
3) All students will participate in recitals, special performances such as Telemiracle and workshops held throughout the year. Participation in music festivals and music examinations is encouraged.
4) Listening to music is very important for all students. Suzuki students must listen to their tapes or CD’s daily.
5) Regular practice is necessary. Parents should be responsible for arranging a specific time for each student’s daily practice and should practice with younger students. Make regular practice a habit.
6) Parents are always welcome at lessons. Parents of younger students should attend their child’s lessons as much as possible.
7) Bring a three ring binder to lessons for your scale charts, practice charts, lesson notes, etc.
8) Lessons in Tisdale are at 1405 98th Street.
9) Lessons in Melfort are at the Apostolic church. Please include a $60.00/year/family donation for the church - cheque written to Melfort Apostolic church or include with lessons fees and I will forward the money to the church. Please include a $50.00/year/family mileage fee.
10) Lessons in Zenon Park are at the AZP. Please include a $50.00/year/family mileage fee.
11) September and October are Technique/Sight Reading months. You will receive further information.
12) All students must be members of the Saskatchewan Orchestral Association - $20.00/year/family - cheque written to the Saskatchewan Orchestra Association. Please give the SOA cheques to Rebecca or Alicia by Sept. 15.
13) Students preparing for music festivals and music examinations must perform the pieces that they will be playing at their examination or music festival at recitals prior to registering for examinations and festivals.
14) Yearly recital/accompaniment fee is $15.00/family.
15) There are a limited number of instruments available for student’s use throughout the year - rental is $10.00/month.
Tuition

1/4 hour lessons@$8.00/lesson - $240.00/30 lessons
1/2 hour lessons@$16.00/lesson - $480.00/30 lessons
3/4 hour lessons@$24.00/lesson - $720.00/30 lessons
1 hour lessons@$30.00/lesson - $900.00/30 lessons
Family Rate (2 or more children/adults taking lessons) - $30.00/hour of lessons.
